ROCK Church of the Nazarene is an intentional, diligent, and persistent missional church, focused on holiness living, centered on the pillars of loving God and loving neighbor, by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, in reconciliation back to the Father, through a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ.
ROCK Church of the Nazarene shall intentionally, diligently, and persistently deliver the uncompromised preaching and teaching of the Word of God through as many means as feasible, to reach the lost in the community of Kenner, LA, and to strengthen the faith of those members within and without the church.
ROCK Church of the Nazarene shall intentionally, diligently, and persistently create a climate where one-on-one evangelism is taught, fostered, and duplicated with each member. Reaching the lost with the Person of Jesus Christ is best conducted through cultivating personal relationships.
ROCK Church of the Nazarene shall intentionally, diligently, and persistently execute the Great Commission, in accordance with Matthew 28:19-20. One-one-one personal relationship evangelism shall naturally blossom into one-on-one personal discipleship.
ROCK Church of the Nazarene shall intentionally, diligently, and persistently conduct
intercessory prayer, for the souls of the lost in the Kenner community, for the requests and supplications of the saints within the church, and for the country and world.
ROCK Church of the Nazarene shall intentionally, diligently, and persistently establish life groups for the purpose of developing biblical literacy, strengthening relationships, and maturing personal character, with a focus on the topical and expository teaching of the Word of God.

Who’s who in the Bible?
We are studying who the people are in the Bible from Adam and Eve to Zacchaeus, come along with us on this journey to discover why we all have a place in God’s book.
In home group that is held on Wednesday at 6:30 pm

Have a favorite craft? Does it travel well? Bring it to the church and enjoy a time of fellowship and crafting. Once in a while we do a group craft. All are welcome, but there is no babysitter so we recommend ages 8 and up.
Nazarene Youth International.
We are building this area. We would love for you to come along and join us in learning about God and the Bible while having fun activities so we can get to know one another better.
Vacation Bible School is an annual summer event.
We join our sister church Koinonia in a week of fun learning about Jesus. Keep watching for more information.

God has a plan for marriage. We are working on a plan for quarterly meetings as couples to strengthen our marriages according to God’s will.
Seniors are a vital part of the community! So much wisdom and experience. We want to glean what we can from the seniors in our community. We are still building this group. If you would like to be involved, contact us and keep watching!
